Welcome to KEN VPN. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the KEN VPN application, website at kensecure.com, or any related services (collectively, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02 Description of Service
KEN VPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection using the WireGuard protocol. The Service is currently available through our mobile application for Android. We offer both free and paid subscription tiers with different speed tiers, device limits, feature access and server-location access.
03 Account Registration
To use KEN VPN, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Take reasonable care to prevent unauthorised access to your account
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. The circumstances in which we may suspend or terminate access are described in section 12.
04 Subscription Plans & Billing
4.1 Free Tier
The Free plan provides access to the Service on 1 Android device with unlimited data, the limited free server pool and the standard speed tier. No payment information is required.
4.2 KEN Pro
The current UK prices shown on this site are £4.99 when billed monthly or £39.99 when billed yearly. The final amount, currency and any applicable tax are shown before purchase. Subscriptions purchased in the Android app are billed through Google Play. A card subscription offered through a KEN checkout is billed through Stripe. KEN verifies the subscription with the relevant provider before enabling paid access. By subscribing, you authorise that provider to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the billing interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Current plan entitlements, device limits and location availability are shown on the Free vs Pro page and in the purchase flow.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription through the provider used for the purchase. For an Android purchase, the Account screen in the App opens Google Play's subscription controls. For a card subscription, use the billing controls in your KEN account to open the Stripe billing portal. KEN updates paid access from the subscription status reported by that provider; when the subscription is no longer reported as active, the account reverts to the Free tier.
Deleting your KEN account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, so cancel it through Google Play first. The account-deletion flow cancels a linked Stripe card subscription before deactivating the KEN account.
4.4 Refunds
The App and website do not provide an automatic refund control. For a subscription billed through Google Play, use Google Play's purchase-support process. For a card subscription billed through Stripe, contact us at [email protected]. Any refund request is handled through the original purchase channel.
These purchase-support routes do not limit any cancellation, refund or other remedy available to you under applicable consumer law. Contact us if you need help exercising those rights.
05 Acceptable Use
You agree to use KEN VPN only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to:
- Engage in any illegal activity under UK law or the laws of your jurisdiction
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
- Send spam, phishing emails, or engage in fraud
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, networks, or accounts
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
- Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent plan limits through technical means
Important: KEN processes account, security and connection-session information to operate the Service. KEN DNS resolvers also log domain queries by default, associated with the VPN-internal IP address. The App offers a DNS-query logging opt-out. These records and their limitations are described in our Privacy Notice; this is not a blanket no-logs service. We may terminate accounts that are reported or found to be engaged in illegal activity through the Service.
06 Device Limits
Each subscription tier includes a maximum number of simultaneously registered devices. If you exceed your device limit, you will need to deactivate an existing device before registering a new one. Device limits are as follows: Free (1 device), KEN Pro (up to 10 devices).
07 Data & Speed Limits
The Free plan includes unlimited data on the standard speed tier and access to the limited free server pool. KEN Pro removes the Free-plan KEN speed cap and adds all currently available KEN locations plus the advanced routing and security-intelligence features identified in the current Free vs Pro comparison. Actual connection speed and streaming quality depend on factors outside KEN's control, including the user's network, device, selected location and the destination service.
08 Service Availability
The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage or uninterrupted availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.
09 Intellectual Property
KEN branding and the content we create belong to KEN Secure Ltd. Third-party software and materials remain subject to their respective owners' rights and applicable licences. These Terms do not restrict permissions granted to you under an open-source licence or by law.
10 Limitation of Liability
We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. If we breach these Terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that breach or failure, as required by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
A VPN and security guidance cannot remove every online risk. KEN's assessments are information to help you make decisions, not a guarantee that a message, website or connection is safe. These service limitations do not remove our responsibility to provide the Service with reasonable care and skill.
11 Resolving Problems
If something goes wrong, contact [email protected] with a description of the problem. Do not send your password or full payment details. We will review your concern and explain the available next steps. Contacting support does not prevent you from using any remedy, complaint route or court available to you by law.
12 Termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, protect the Service or other people from harm, or comply with the law. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Serious or repeated breaches may result in termination.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. Manage any subscription separately as explained in section 4. Ending access does not remove your accrued rights, any applicable refund entitlement or our data-protection obligations.
13 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements or security needs. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or an in-app notice, unless a shorter period is required by law or necessary to address an urgent security issue. We will explain the change and when it takes effect.
If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the Service and cancel renewal through your payment provider. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable law to end a contract or receive a refund.
14 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer law, including your local courts where that law permits.
